A song came on earlier, one of my old favorites, as I did request the artist specifically via my new Alexa (which is awesome by the way, and so is the Echo Dot).
In case you’re wondering what it feels like on a daily basis, when suffering from an identity amputation and also implementation, of sorts, due to what is now a long ago accident, which resulted in acquired disorders via Post Concussion Syndrome, well, this sums it up pretty well:
Something has left my life
And I don’t know where it went to
Somebody caused me strife
And it’s not what I was seeking.
Didn’t you see me, didn’t you hear me
Didn’t you see me standing there
Why did you turn out the lights
Did you know that I was sleeping
Say a prayer for me
Help me to feel the strength I did
My identity has been taken
Is my heart breaking on me
All my plans fell though my hands
Though my hands on me
All my dreams, it suddenly seems
And if you want to listen, it’s always a beautiful thing to hear The Cranberries.
